The Hollies can be booked on a short stay basis for a maximum of five nights.
Bookings and enquires can be made via the online booking system, via email to [email protected] or phone on 01695 657 555.
Edge Hill University staff should book their stay using our dedicated SharePoint page.
Please note that all online bookings are processed manually. A member of our team will review your request and confirm it once approved.

We welcome parents, family members, friends of Edge Hill students, as well as visitors to Ormskirk or West Lancashire. All guests must be aged 18 or over. Please note that we don’t accept group bookings.
Rooms and facilities
8 of the 10 available rooms are single‑occupancy and include an en‑suite shower room, TV, desk, chair, wardrobe, towels and bedding. We also have a double room and a self-contained flat with its own living area and kitchen facilities, and both are double-occupancy.
All guests will have access to a shared kitchen equipped with a fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave oven and hob. Guests may use the shared dining room and living room.

The Hollies is a charming late‑19th‑century Victorian villa located on Edge Hill University’s award‑winning campus. It offers comfortable single‑occupancy rooms ideal for visitors to the University or the local area.

Yes. Parking is available on campus should you have a confirmed booking. ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) is in operation, so you must provide your vehicle registration when collecting your keys.

We operate a 28‑day cancellation policy. If you cancel within 28 days of arrival, full payment is required.
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse bookings from individuals we deem unsuitable for the guest house.
